A Sweet Puppuccino Card

Throughout April, I will be a guest designer on the Coffee Loving Card Maker Blog, and I’ll be sharing a variety of coffee-loving projects with you. Today, I have a sweet little Puppuccino card video tutorial for you where I will share some of my Noir TriBlend marker coloring tips.

This sweet little puppuccino card has a bit of a vintage vibe and a little bit of whimsy with the polka dots and adorable little dog in the cup. The front panel on the card base was cut a little shorter than needed so that I could add a lace border to the design.

To make the lace border sturdy enough for the card, I used adhesive sheets to adhere three die cuts together. In my video, I share one of my favorite hacks for getting all the pieces out of delicate dies like this one.

Those adorable stamps from Pawsome stamps were so much fun to play with. I know that I probably have a dozen other coffee stamp sets, but I am a sucker for dogs and polka-dots.

I shaded the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers and added some detail with a White Gel pen. Using pens on your stamped images can really bring them to life.

I have had multiple requests asking me to slow down the coloring process with these markers.

For those of you who have asked to learn more about these alcohol markers, I shared a few of my secret coloring tips in my video.

This lace border card is such a fun design that you can create using just about any paper in your collection. As a coffee addict, I loved having an excuse to use these adorable coffee images, and I enjoyed being able to share this with all of the Coffee Loving Card Makers.
