A Floral Wreath For Your Home

Do you enjoy creating personalized home decor for your space? Close to My Heart created an amazing wooden wreath kit that I fell in love with and wanted to create for my home.  After looking through the kit, I realized how easy it would be to personalize to match my decor.

Each All Around Creativity Kit comes with a sixteen-inch wooden wreath, laser cut flowers and leaves, and an easy-to-assemble bow. Since I wanted to personalize this for my home, I chose to add a Cricut® cut deer image from the Artistry collection to adorn my wreath and make it unique to me.

Even though this kit comes with four paper background designs, I chose not to use any of the paper circles behind my wreath. Instead, I trimmed down one of the paper circles to fit my Cricut® mat and used the background paper to cut out yellow polka-dot antlers. How cute are those?!

To personalize it even more, I inked the leaves, added stain to the wood wreath, and shaded the paper flowers using Red Candy Apple Ink and Red Shimmer mixed in a Spray Pen. If you wish to see how I did this and how I added all the unique touches to my design, you can view the process video below

I hope that today’s project inspired you to try something new and gave you a desire to create one of the All Around Creativity kits. These kits are available through February 29th, while supplies last, so make sure that you pick out one for your home, or special occasion, before they are gone.
