When I saw the new space-themed dies and stamps from Trinity Stamps, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. A glowing galaxy card with a little astronaut ready to blast off.
To create this glowing galaxy background, I used a blend of Distress Oxide inks and added layers of paint and shimmer splatter to mimic stars. The astronaut was built using the Tiny Astronaut die set from Trinity Stamps, layered for dimension using techniques I’ve shared in several past tutorials.
I punched tiny holes into the card where I wanted the stars to glow and backed those areas with vellum. Behind the scenes, I tucked in the Twinkle Lights from Pear Blossom Press—and just like that, the stars came to life!
