Whether you’re new to stitching or just love working with felt, this beginner-friendly Easter bunny craft is such a fun way to welcome the season. They’re soft, sweet, and perfect for springtime decorating. The Felt Carrot Companion Etched Dies are designed to work with a standard die cutting machine. I cut all the pieces from Merino Wool Felt Sheets then began the assembly process.

As someone who’s comfortable with embroidery, I thought stitching these bunnies would be a breeze—but I quickly realized how tricky it can be to hold all those tiny felt pieces in place while stitching! If you’re new to felt crafts like I was, here’s a tip to make the process so much easier.
I used Fabri-Tac Adhesive to lightly adhere all of the felt layers together before stitching. This kept everything in place and allowed me to focus on the stitching details without the pieces shifting. Game changer!

I selected soft, pastel felt colors for a fresh spring decor vibe, then used simple hand stitching to assemble the bunnies. I added a tiny bit of stuffing for dimension. For extra detail, I gave each bunny a stitched heart on its belly and gave one with a little floral crown.
To turn the bunnies into decorative wands, I glued them onto wooden dowels and tied colorful chiffon ribbon at the base. These DIY Easter bunny wands make beautiful additions to spring centerpieces, or you can tuck them into gift baskets as a handmade surprise.

Whether you’re decorating for an Easter party or just love making cute seasonal crafts, this felt Easter bunny DIY is a great project for crafters of all skill levels. The Spellbinders Dies made it so easy to cut perfectly shaped felt pieces, and I can’t wait to try more springtime projects with them!
