A New Tote for the Cricut Joy

Are you an organized crafter? If you have seen any of my craft room tour videos, you know that I am an organizer, which is why I was tickled pink (and teal) to receive this Mollie Ollie Caddy for my craft space.

When I first opened the box, I was happy to see that it was well built, soft to the touch, and easy to assemble. Two dividers can easily be attached with hook and loop strips or left off if you need more space.

My first thought was, “Can I use this for my Cricut crafts?” and, as you can see, it fits my Cricut Joy perfectly.

I was able to add the machine, it’s cords, the three mats, my EasyPress mini, a small heat press mat, fifteen pens, tools, roll of vinyl and iron on, and card blanks. After adding all of that, I still had a few empty pockets.

When I went to lift the caddy with all of those supplies, I didn’t feel like it would fall apart or collapse. It is well built and the straps look like they are going to handle me toting this from retreat to retreat.

After determining that it would hold Cricut supplies, I began to think of other uses.

When our children were younger and the schedule was full, I would bring projects with me as I waited for the bus, the next game, or the weather to clear up. This tote would be perfect for traveling with card making kits.

I was able to put everything I needed to make some quick cards into this caddy with plenty of room for more. You could also store a mini scrapbook album, planners, your journals and art supplies.

There are so many crafting possibilities with this tote. I am considering grabbing one for my cross-stitching projects.

After playing around in my craft room with the caddy to see how much it could hold, I wanted to come up with other uses. My first thought was Bible Study, Sunday School, and Awana and then…it hit me. A guest bedroom caddy.
