I must admit that it is difficult to keep myself from singing Christmas carols as I create with the Christmas Tunes stamp set. During the month of October, I will be posting weekly projects using this stamp of the month in hopes that you are inspired to create projects of your own. This week, I have created a Christmas themed scrapbook layout with our Enchantment Fundamentals papers using the Snow Globe image as a simple accent. You could easily change the color palette and use this layout to showcase your wintry photos. As always, I’ve included a list of the products used to create this layout at the very bottom of this post.
Paper Needed: 12″ x 12″ B&T Paper (Ruby Dots), 1¼” x 12″ B&T Paper (Ruby Stripes), 1″ x 12″ B&T Paper (Ruby Stripes), 4″ x 12″ B&T Paper (Fern Stripes), ¼” x 12″ B&T Paper (Fern Stripes), (2) ¼” x 12″ Silver Glitter Paper, 5¼” x 3¾” Fern Cardstock, (2) 5″ x 3½” White Daisy Cardstock, 3″ x 3″ White Daisy Cardstock , 3″ x 3″ Vellum Paper, 3″ x 9″ White Daisy Cardstock, 2″ x 4″ Ruby Cardstock
Techniques Used:
• The tree border was created using the Tree Line Border Thin Cuts. I drew a horizontal line 1¼” from the top of the paper then used that line to align the base of the Thin Cut across the paper as I cut out the border. I used this same line when adhering the Silver Glitter Paper strip.
• The Snow Globe was stamped onto White Daisy cardstock using Black Memento Ink. 
I shaded the base of the image using ShinHan™ Markers by blending Carmine, Warm Grey, and Lavender, then I added glitter to the base using a Clear Shimmer Brush.
• The top of the Snow Globe was created by stamping image onto Vellum Paper. While the ink was still wet, I sprinkled the image with Clear Embossing Powder, then heated the powder with a Craft Gun. I also added glitter to the globe using a Clear Shimmer Brush.
