The Hey There Honey collection from Catherine Pooler Designs is filled with layering florals, playful sentiments, and coordinating dies that make it easy to build beautiful cards in minutes. With its classic honey jars, beautiful fresh blooms, and irresistibly cute curious bears, it’s a must-have for those who love making bright, cheery, and handcrafted cards.
Honeycomb and Amber are perfect for spring! Don’t be afraid to combine these with some of your favorite reds and pinks like Peppermint Scrub or Sparkling Berry. The result is a bold, cheerful floral look that still feels cohesive thanks to the earthy undertones in these warm hues.
The Sweet Blooms stamp set pairs beautifully with dies, tags, and stitched frames. For the floral frame card, I used the Scallop & Dots Dies to create a simple frame and layered florals around the corners. This draws your eye to the sentiment and gives the card a beautiful balance.
Centering your sentiment on a stitched rectangle or tag and surrounding it with florals helps draw the eye to your message. Use foam tape to add dimension and stagger flowers around the edge for a natural, flowing look.
On the second card, I added a striped tag behind the florals to break up the patterned background. Layering tags or shapes is a great way to create depth without overwhelming your design. Tags also offer the perfect place to tie a bit of twine, adding texture and a handmade feel.
I’d love to hear what you think of the Hey There Honey collection! Which card is your favorite?
