As the leaves start to turn and the air gets a bit crisper, it’s the perfect time to dive into some cozy fall crafting projects. Today, I’m excited to share a simple and charming fall treat holder project, featuring the brand-new Catherine Pooler Fall Festival Collection. These treat holders are perfect for sharing small treats, and they bring a warm, festive touch to any fall gathering.

Earlier today, Catherine Pooler shared her new Fall Festival collection and, I have to say, it is one of my new favorites.ย ย The Fall Festival collection has a mix of seasonal and holiday items that are going to be so much fun to create with.ย
SUPPLIES | Dipped and Sprinkled Bundle, Goblin Grins, To the Orchard Pattern Paper, Cranberry Fizz Ink Pad, Sauna Ink Pad, Whipped Honey Ink Pad, Sage Ink Pad, Gingerbread Ink Pad, Icing on the Cake Ink Pad, Kraft Paper, White Cardstock, Stamping Platform, White Gel Pen,ย Glassboard,ย P6 Die Cutting Machine,ย Magic Mat,ย Trinity Stamps Pick-Up Stick,ย Stack-n-Sort Trays,ย Fine Point Scissors,ย Mint Tape,ย Die Release Tool,ย Foam Dots,ย Skinny Foam Tape,ย Glue Dots,ย Bearly Art Glue,ย Tape Runner,ย Foam Adhesive Sheets

I used Kraft cardstock as the base for these treat holders. It’s ideal because it offers a rustic fall feel and pairs beautifully with the patterned papers from the To the Orchard collection. In the video below, I share all the steps to create these. For those who prefer written instructions, I have included them in this post.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Start by cutting your kraft cardstock into a 3 ยผโ x 8โ base.
- Using a bone folder, score the paper:
- Place the longer side at the top.
- Score the paper at ยฝโ, 3 ยพโ, 4 ยผโ, and 7 ยฝโ
- Fold along the two center score lines to create a bag-like shape. The top flaps should fold out.
- Fill your treat holder with small goodies like cookies, tea bags, or candies.
- Close the box using twine or a staple for a secure and stylish finish.

The treat holders can be decorated with pattern paper and stamped images that fit your occasion. I used a 3″x3″ pattern from To the Orchard on the front and back panels. This adds a decorative touch and ties in the beautiful designs from the new paper collection.
When creating the candy apple images, Rockin’ Red and Garden Party inks create classic apple look. For my designs, I chose Cranberry Fizz and Sage for a warmer feel. I also used the matching dies to cut out the apple pieces and add some dimension, then placed all the pieces onto a 2.25โ circle in the center of the front panel.

For those who want a brighter design for Halloween, try using blue patterned paper from the To the Orchard collection. Add pen stitching lines to the circle, and use fun colors like Garden Party green for Granny Smith apples, Sangria for purple apples, and Tiara for yellow apples. The sentiment “Iโd fall for you every time” pairs perfectly with a cute stamped spider from the Goblins and Grins collection.

I hope you enjoy making these adorable fall treat holders as much as I did! They are simple to create and make delightful gifts for any fall event.
