If you love adding a touch of creativity to your paper crafts with stamps, then you are in for a treat! Stamps are a fantastic way to personalize your projects. In this tutorial, you will discover how to make your own patterned paper using easy stamping methods and design a beautiful page to capture all your best friend memories.

Stamps can truly elevate your crafting projects. By mixing and matching different stamp designs, you can create a unique pattern that reflects your style and personality. To create this page, I gathered a few of my favorite stamps from Hip Kit Club and used them to design a personalized pattern for this best friends page.
SUPPLIES: February Main Kit, February Color Kit, February Embellishment Kit, Stamping Platform, White Embroidery Thread, Size 14 Sewing Needle, Needle Threader, Glassboard, Photo Printer, Sewing Machine, Cricut Maker Machine, Platinum 6 Machine, Craft Knife, Fine Point Scissors, Edge Distresser, Mint Tape, T-Ruler, Die Release Tool, Foam Dots, Skinny Foam Tape, Glue Dots, Bearly Art Glue, Tape Runner, Temporary Adhesive, Foam Adhesive Sheets
I began by selecting the heart background as a focal point stamp that served as the main image of my pattern. Then, I two choose complementary stamps from the PL kit to build around it. You can experiment with different arrangements and orientations to achieve the look you desire.

Patterns and colors can be repeated and overlapped to craft a distinctive design. I decided to partially stamp some images for a weathered appearance. To introduce texture to my page, I incorporated lines of stitching over the stamped images.
After finishing the stamped design, I selected page elements that complemented the ink colors. Pockets, florals, and playful phrases were chosen as a backdrop for the photos to capture and preserve those special best friends moments.

This page is filled with playful color combinations and dynamic and eye-catching layers. With such a bold color palette, I opted for minimal embellishment clusters to maintain a balanced layout without overpowering the page.
My favorite feature of the Hip Kit embellishments is the pattern paper pockets. I used them to enhance my photo and crafted a delightful hidden journaling spot on my layout.

I opted for a simple title and elements that played well with the photo’s colors. My goal was to create a diagonal flow throughout my page and add a charming element over the stamped pattern paper.
