Create Spring Cards Without Stamps

As much as I enjoy using my favorite stamps, sometimes I need a quick and easy card project for a last-minute gift. In today’s video, I am going to demonstrate how to create two charming spring card designs using only printed images and perspexive icons.

These two cards were created using a few new spring items from Bramble Fox. The texture-paste background, hexagon shapes, and bright icons made these projects so simple to create. When it comes to creating a quick and easy card project, there are a variety of options available that do not require a lot of time or effort.

Using shapes cut from colorful patterns creates a unique design on a plain card. This is a fun and easy way to add some personality to your design without spending a lot of time on it.

If you are feeling creative, try adding a background stencil design. On these two cards, I used texture paste, but you could use ink, spray, or trace the design with a pen and show off your artistic skills.

Using acrylic perspextives or stickers is a simple way to add images and icons to a card. In each of my designs, I used bees and flower shapes to create a spring scene.

If you are short on time, consider using pre-made sentiments. Many companies, including Bramble Fox, have beautifully printed phrases that work for almost any occasion. Simply cut them out and add them to your project.

For me, Papersnips are a time saver.  As much as I like to create multicolored images with stamps, sometimes I just don’t feel like hauling out a bunch of supplies. Papersnips can be utilized on more than just cards. I use these phrases on my scrapbook pages, tags, and gift boxes.

If you would like to see how quickly these two cards came together, I have a short tutorial for you to enjoy.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cardmaker, creating unique card designs without stamps can be a fun and creative challenge. There are a variety of options available that do not require a lot of time or effort.

I hope today’s project inspired you to try something new. If you have any questions about this project or the supplies listed above, feel free to leave me a comment.
