This week, for the Color My Heart Dare challenge, our design team was challenged to “Choose Your Greens” and create something using only shades of green. As many of you know, I am a HUGE Cricut™ addict, but I haven’t had much time to play lately, so I decided to sit down this week and create this delightful Fall Purse Card using Fern, New England Ivy, and our Seasons Mix-In’s papers. You can find the full list of supplies I used on this card at the very bottom of this post.
My Fall Purse was created from various shapes and images from our Cricut™ Collections. After cutting out the images, I decided it needed a little something more, and, since I have so much fun creating paper flowers, I chose to add a Kraft colored Chrysanthemum with a button center that I attached with New England Ivy Burlap Ribbon. Our Burlap Ribbon comes apart into individual threads, which are perfect to use for attaching buttons, tying tags, and adding stitching to projects.
The sentiment for this card came from our October stamp of the month, Thanks & Giving. I used a portion of the “Thanks & Giving” sentiment so that I could turn this into a Thank You card. As you can see, I also stamped an image inside the card. I have enjoyed all of the sentiments and images on this stamp set, but sadly it is only available for purchase for a few more days, so make sure you snag it while you can. It has so many possibilities!
I really enjoy the look of this card and how all the greens play well together with the Kraft flower. I especially ♥LOVE♥ having these Seasons Mix-In’s papers to play with knowing that they will match all of our current paper packs.
