Are you looking for creative ways to use up your Christmas crafting supplies? Just because the holiday season has passed doesn’t mean those festive papers and dies should be tucked away until next year! Today, I’m sharing a beautiful floral card featuring the Painted Daisy die from Spellbinders, proving that your holiday supplies can be transformed into stunning year-round designs.

For this card, I challenged myself to use supplies originally meant for Christmas. The soft mint green cardstock and patterned paper are from a Rosie’s Studio’s Christmas collection, yet they beautifully complement the pink tones in the butterfly and flower. Let’s take a fresh look at these holiday-themed dies, papers, and embellishments to see who well they work for spring, summer, or even everyday cards!

The Painted Daisy die from Spellbinders has quickly become a favorite of mine! I’ve created multiple cards with it and will be sharing another version during my Crafty Coffee Hour this week. To bring this flower to life, I used a blend of distress oxides in pinks and yellow, giving it a soft yet vibrant appearance. The yellow center adds just the right amount of warmth to balance out the cooler background tones.

The intricate border at the bottom of the card comes from a winter border collection. While designed for holiday projects, the Celtic-inspired pattern has a timeless look that feels perfect for spring. With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, this design adds a subtle seasonal touch without being overly themed.

A delicate butterfly sticker helps complete the design, creating a whimsical, nature-inspired look. A few black enamel dots provide contrast and a touch of elegance to the overall composition.

This project is the perfect example of why you shouldn’t limit your seasonal supplies to just one time of year. So, dig out those Christmas supplies and start crafting in a whole new way! I can’t wait to see how you repurpose your stash. Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever used holiday supplies for non-holiday projects, and don’t forget to join me for my next Crafty Coffee Hour for another Painted Daisy card tutorial!
