Hidden Sentiment Pop Up Card

Over the past few months, I have been creating with the Not2Shabby design team. It has been a pleasure to work with the monthly subscription kit and I hope that each project shared inspired you. Today, I am posting a final team project and am excited about how it turned out.

SUPPLIES | June Stamp & Die of the Month, Honey Bee Stamps Paper Pad, Nested Tag Die, Glassboard, Gina K Obsidian Ink, Stamping Platform, Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers, Double-Sided Tape, Blending Brush, Bone Folder, Bearly Art Glue, Tape Runner

The Not2Shabby stamp of the month is an adorable donut stamp set with sweet little sentiments you can use for just about any occasion. I selected two of the donut images for this design, but there are multiple ones to choose from.

This whimsical pop-up card is a unique project to create. When the tag at the top is pulled, a hidden sentiment is revealed inside. I recently discovered that, when the tag is pulled back, there is almost enough room for a gift card. I am currently working on another design for the holidays.

The two donut images were shaded with Spectrum Noir tri-blend markers. A few of you requested more information about using the blender pen, so I have included that in today’s tutorial.

To make those three-dimensional sprinkles, I used a glass pen. This is something new to my craft space that I plan in sharing on another cardmaking project.

If you’re wondering about the difficulty of this card design, fret not! I have provided you with a simple video tutorial and printable directions. Check out the video tutorial below then follow the link to our online shop, where you can find all the necessary resources.

If you have any questions about this project or the supplies listed above, feel free to leave me a comment.
