Three Unique Cards with the I Pick You Collection
If you love stamp and die sets that can be used in many different ways, the I Pick You collection from Hero Arts is a must-have. This versatile set combines fruit branch images, coordinating stencils, and detailed dies that let you create elegant, textured, and colorful handmade cards.

Today, Iโm sharing three unique card designs made with this set: an inspirational apple card, a bold golden apple card, and a nostalgic plum card. Each project shows just how flexible one stamp and die collection can be.

For the first design, I paired the Apple Frame & Die stencil bundle with a favorite sentiment. The stenciled branches and leaves were inked and then textured with paste for added depth.

I embossed a quote from the Youโre Golden stamp set and placed it inside a soft arch shape. To finish, I added a few dimensional apples and blossoms. This handmade apple card is perfect for encouragement or thoughtful notes.
The second design shows how the same Apple Frame & Die stencil bundle can be used in a completely different way. Instead of ink blending, I used gold paste to create bold texture for the background leaves and branches. The apples were cut from shiny gold cardstock, which immediately gave the card a striking and luxurious look.

In the center, I heat embossed โYouโre So Goldenโ on a deep red background, adding blossoms to soften the edges. This handmade golden apple card is a wonderful example of how mixed media techniques can take your stencils to the next level.
I was inspired by our familyโs plum tree to create this final design. Our children would pick plums like these every season for jams, jellies, and desserts.

To create a watercolor look, I blended hues of blue, grey and violet over the Apple Branch images with alcohol markers. The background has a vintage mixed media feel, created with watercolor washes, repetitive text stamping, and distressed ink splatters. This handmade plum card brings back so many memories.
The I Pick You collection from Hero Arts is still available, and itโs one of those sets youโll reach for again and again. From bold golden accents to vintage mixed media, this stamp and die bundle can adapt to any cardmaking style.
I hope these designs inspire you to experiment with your own supplies and discover just how versatile fruit-themed stamps can be.
