This simple yet engaging card is perfect for the special men in your life. I selected a mix of black, red, and gray, with a subtle pink to create the design. You can add a handwritten sentiment or a favorite Valentine phrase to personalize it..

Simple Steps to Create this Card
- Cut your base layer measures 5½” x 4¼”.
- Place the 2¼” x 4¼” plaid strip onto the card front.
- Layer the the 4¾” x 3½” black and 3¼” x 4½” white cardstock pieces onto the center of the card. Add decorative pen-work for contrast.
- Using the Love Bigfoot die, cut an image from gray star-patterned paper for a fun, whimsical focal point. Position it centrally on the card.
- Enhance the card with additional pen-stroke outlines, inked edges, or textured elements like embossing. For a polished look, layer red cardstock leaves above the sentiment strip.
- For a finishing touch, adhere three matte black confetti pieces to mimic enamel dots. They add dimension without complicating mailing.
This second card is a simple pop-up design that can be altered using your favorite holiday patterns and Valentine sentiments. It would also make a sweet birthday or anniversary card.

Simple Steps to Create this Card
- Score the 9” x 4¼” black cardstock so that it folds in half lengthwise.
- Center the 4” x 3¾” red star pattern onto the front of the card.
- Adhere two Bigfoot die cuts for extra sturdiness. Position the character so it doesn’t exceed 5½” in height for an A2 envelope.
- Cut an oval die cut for the sentiment – a perfect space for a heartfelt note.
- Ground the design with the leftover plaid strip and frame the sentiment with black leaves.
- Enhance the card with additional pen-stroke outlines, inked edges, or textured elements like embossing.
- For a finishing touch, adhere matte black confetti pieces along the card base to resemble grommets. Ensure the flat side faces down for proper adhesion.
