I’m thrilled to share a fun and versatile card-making project featured in my latest video. This project is a delightful fun fold with a sunny summer image on the front, perfect for brightening anyone’s day. What makes this card extra special is the inside panel with a gift card holder, making it an ideal choice for birthdays, thank yous, or any occasion you can dream up!

As a guest designer for Trinity Stamps, I had the pleasure of showcasing some of their fantastic new releases. It’s allowed me to get back to the joys of card making and I have truly enjoyed working on these projects.
SUPPLIES | Oh Yes You Can Stamp Set, Simply Sentimental Celebrate Stamp Set, White Cardstock, Bubble Blue Cardstock, Sherbet Pattern Collection, Aureolin Heart Baubles Embellishment Mix, Amalgam Ink, Spectrum Noir Light Yellow Blend, Spectrum Noir Citrus Blend, Spectrum Noir Gold Yellow Blend, Spectrum Noir Coral Blend, White Glaze Gel Pen, Stamping Platform, Pick Up Tool, Fine Point Scissors, Bone Folder, Foam Dots, Skinny Foam Tape, Bearly Art Glue, Tape Runner, Foam Adhesive Sheets
The “Yes You Can” image is incredibly versatile, and I knew it would bring a delightful touch of sunshine to this encouraging card. I stamped this sunny summer image using alcohol marker-friendly ink and shaded it with a mix of Spectrum Noir Triblends.
In the tutorial video, I reveal some of my top tips for creating dimension with these markers. Don’t hesitate to explore various color combinations to suit the occasion you have in mind.

For added flair, consider incorporating extra elements into your card design. On the sentiment, I used a White Glaze pen to create the look of a heat embossed image. You can also enhance the design with highlights and accents using a white gel pen for a more dynamic and refined appearance.
This card design incorporates several specialty cuts to achieve its unique look, and I’ve detailed all of these cuts in the video. Don’t worry if you missed something; I’ll also list them here on the blog for your convenience.

- Folded Panel: 4½” x 9¾”
