I have missed you all so much, that I decided to host a Valentine Give-Away. These past few weeks I have been battling the flu and have missed being able to create in my Craft Space. I am so grateful to all of you who sent well wishes as I have been recovering. Today, I have decided that, in lieu of a new creation (which I don’t have), I will be giving away♥ a Free Cricut® Design Space File of my Valentine Hot Air Balloon Treat Basket to FIVE people.
On this delightful little piece of art, I used the Urban papers and sticker pack. I adore the vintage, steam-punk, distressed look of Urban and it matches perfectly with the other decor items in my Craft Space. Unfortunately, this paper pack is only available through January 31st♥, so, if you enjoy these designs, you will need to purchase this pack soon.
I hope that you are well, have avoided getting this nasty illness going around, and that you are excited to win one of the Cricut® Design Space Files. I am excited to get back into my Craft Space and start sharing some new creations with you.

Even with Valentine’s Day being a few days away, I am still working on a few last minute decorations for my home, although, I feel that this Valentine Star Wreath is one that could be displayed all year long. That is why I am offering this project as a ♥Free Cricut Design Space™ file♥ with any purchase from my website during the month of February. If you would like to recreate this project, you can find a list of products I used at the very bottom of this post. My home is being decorated with Americana decor, so the Heart Happy papers were a perfect choice for this project. The combination of Sapphire, Candy Apple, and Ballerina complement my ♥rustic decorations♥ and the vellum flower with the White Pearl added a simple embellishment to the banner.
Once you have downloaded the Free Cricut Design Space™ file, you can cut out all the images from various Close to My Heart cardstock & papers that match your personal decor. You will ♥need to own both♥ the Flower Market and the Artbooking Cricut™ collections to cut out the images I used. The star is my own personal creation and can only be acquired through this Design Space™ fie.
After assembling the three-dimensional star and banner, ♥you can personalize it♥ before attaching to a grapevine wreath. I chose to use my sewing machine to add stitching to the banner and heart. It’s hard to see, but I also added some Glitter Paper and brushed the bows and flowers with a Shimmer Brush for a little shine.
This Valentine Star Wreath Design Space™ is ♥only available for FREE♥ during the month of February with a purchase from my website. Once you have placed your online order, I will send the link to the file to the email attached to your order. This file will not be available for sale, cannot be shared, and it is only available for a limited time, so please make sure to place your order before midnight February 28th for your link to these images.
♥I can’t wait to see what you create!

If you have been reading any of my postings, you know that I missed out on creating for Christmas, so, since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I am just paper crafting away for the holiday. To make the creating even more fun, I get to play with the delightful Heart Happy products. Not only did I make a Love-ly Valentine Banner with these, I created also this adorable ♥Do Small Things Quotable Frame♥ for my “office” which coincidentally happens to be decorated in Teal and Red.
The base for this project is a 7gypsies Solo Shadowbox Tray that can be found on Amazon or at any craft store. I found mine with all the “vintageish” items in the paper crafting section. I like the 6½” size because it wasn’t too small to require tweezers and not too big to have to fill the space. (Sometimes my creative brain just can’t handle too much space to fill.)
To complete the project, I added a little bow using some Black & White Gingham Ribbon from the Short Story Album Kit. ♥Simple, sweet, and perfect for my home.♥
