Valentine Balloon Treat Basket Design Space File Give Away

I have missed you all so much, that I decided to host a Valentine Give-Away.  These past few weeks I have been battling the flu and have missed being able to create in my Craft Space.  I am so grateful to all of you who sent well wishes as I have been recovering. Today, I have decided that, in lieu of a new creation (which I don’t have),  I will be giving away a Free Cricut® Design Space File of my Valentine Hot Air Balloon Treat Basket to FIVE people.

These fun hot air balloons we inspired by an adorable creation I found while looking though some VERY OLD paper crafting magazines and I couldn’t wait to figure out how to recreate them in Design Space.®  Not only will I be giving away the Design Space© file I made, these five people will also receive the process video showing how to assemble these delightful Valentine Hot Air Balloons!

How Do I Enter the Drawing?

You will need to own the images I used to create each one of these Valentine’s Day Hot Air Balloons.  Most of these are images I manipulated from the Close to My Heart Artiste collection and a few are from images that are available with the Cricut© Access Subscription.   These adorable balloons were created as Valentine gifts with the Oh My Heart paper and Stickers, but, if you are wanting a balloon decoration year-round, you can make one like I did for my Craft Space.

On this delightful little piece of art, I used the Urban papers and sticker pack. I adore the vintage, steam-punk, distressed look of Urban and it matches perfectly with the other decor items in my Craft Space. Unfortunately, this paper pack is only available through January 31st, so, if you enjoy these designs, you will need to purchase this pack soon.

I hope that you are well, have avoided getting this nasty illness going around, and that you are excited to win one of the Cricut® Design Space Files.  I am excited to get back into my Craft Space and start sharing some new creations with you.

Valentine Star Wreath ~ A Free Design Space™ File

Even with Valentine’s Day being a few days away, I am still working on a few last minute decorations for my home, although, I feel that this Valentine Star Wreath is one that could be displayed all year long. That is why I am offering this project as a Free Cricut Design Space™ file with any purchase from my website during the month of February. If you would like to recreate this project, you can find a list of products I used at the very bottom of this post. ValentineStarWreath-misscarriescreations My home is being decorated with Americana decor, so the Heart Happy papers were a perfect choice for this project.  The combination of Sapphire, Candy Apple, and Ballerina complement my rustic decorations and the vellum flower with the White Pearl added a simple embellishment to the banner.

Once you have downloaded the Free Cricut Design Space™ file, you can cut out all the images from various Close to My Heart cardstock & papers that match your personal decor. You will need to own both the Flower Market and the Artbooking Cricut™ collections to cut out the images I used. The star is my own personal creation and can only be acquired through this Design Space™ fie.

After assembling the three-dimensional star and banner, you can personalize it before attaching to a grapevine wreath.  I chose to use my sewing machine to add stitching to the banner and heart. It’s hard to see, but I also added some Glitter Paper and brushed the bows and flowers with a Shimmer Brush for a little shine.

This Valentine Star Wreath Design Space™ is only available for FREE during the month of February with a purchase from my website. Once you have placed your online order, I will send the link to the file to the email attached to your order.  This file will not be available for sale, cannot be shared, and it is only available for a limited time, so please make sure to place your order before midnight February 28th for your link to these images.

I can’t wait to see what you create!

Heart Happy Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heart Happy Blog Hop where we will be featuring a multitude 49705047_10156181127517686_1745951063917199360_nof projects using our Heart Happy products. 💖 If you have come here from Gina Brandstetter’s blog, you are on the right path! When you are finished reading my post, you can click on the link at the end to move to the next blog. This blog hop is simple, fun, and full of projects that you can create using our Heart Happy products. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

If you have been reading any of my postings, you know that I missed out on creating for Christmas, so, since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I am just paper crafting away for the holiday. To make the creating even more fun, I get to play with the delightful Heart Happy products. Not only did I make a Love-ly Valentine Banner with these, I created also this adorable Do Small Things Quotable Frame for my “office” which coincidentally happens to be decorated in Teal and Red.

The base for this project is a 7gypsies Solo Shadowbox Tray that can be found on Amazon or at any craft store. I found mine with all the “vintageish” items in the paper crafting section. I like the 6½” size because it wasn’t too small to require tweezers and not too big to have to fill the space. (Sometimes my creative brain just can’t handle too much space to fill.)

I had some leftover Tags, Stitched Hearts, Happy Heart stickers and paper scraps from my Love-ly Banner that I layered into the frame using Foam Tape and some stitching. (I love projects that use leftovers.)

To complete the project, I added a little bow using some Black & White Gingham Ribbon from the Short Story Album Kit. Simple, sweet, and perfect for my home.

Now ‘Hop” on over to Janet Royer’s blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas. Remember, the Heart Happy products are only available, while supplies last, until February 28th! Contact your CTMH Consultant, or visit the Promotions tab of my website to order your kit. I can’t wait to see what you create!
