Like I said, the products in this catalog are extraordinary.  I had such a difficult time choosing what I wanted to use today because there are so many things I want to show you.  I realized that I have two months to share it all, so I am just going to show you two favorites that I used on my Country Mason Jar card.

Yes, just two.  If you head on over to my website and view the catalog, you will realize why this was such a difficult decision.  As you hop through the other blogs, I know that you are going to see a bunch of other products, so make sure you have a pen & paper ready and start making your list.

Mason Jar Bouquet Stamp & Thin Cuts

Who doesn’t love mason jars?!  My house is full of random mason jar finds, including a dog watering dish which is shaped like an extra large canning jar.  Our new Mason Jar Bouquet can be purchased with or without the Thin Cut dies, and are designed to create some beautiful little summer bouquets.

There is a little tag you can use to add a sentiment.  I chose to use a strand from our White Burlap Ribbon on my jar and stamp the sentiment on a vellum circle. One of my favorite things about this Mason Jar Bouquet set, is that the die has a little slit in the top, so I can slide my flowers right in and make it look like they are truly sitting in the jar.

Mix-Ins Paper Packet

Every season, it is the Mix-Ins paper that I stock up on.  I enjoy the delicate patterns and how well they pair with the current seasons papers.  The paper pack in the May/June catalog is just as remarkable as in seasons past.

Checks, polka-dots, and flowers – perfect for summertime creations.  These Mix-Ins papers are going to look  beautiful on anything you create.  If you plan on stocking up on these, make sure to also grab a few packs of Coordinating cardstock

There you have it. Two of my new favorites from the May/June Catalog. These are not my ONLY favorites. I actually have quite a few more that I plan to show you in the coming weeks. You really need to head on over to my website and take a look at all of the fantastic finds this season.

One of my favorite products is our Card Front Spinner die, so you can image my excitement when I saw some NEW Stamps Sets in the catalog to match this fun interactive product.  One of my favorites is the Around the Clock set, and, today, I have created a delightful Mountain Cabin Spinner card for you to make using this collection. For those who love tutorials, you will find a process video at the very bottom of this post along with a supply list.

Yes, you read correctly– I said “Around the Clock” stamp set.  This new Stamp & Thin cut bundle was designed to create a Cuckoo-Cukoo clock, but I knew the minute I saw it that I wanted to use the images to make a whimsical little cabin.

I created a cloud background onto the Spinner Card Front, added some rolling hills cut from Green Apple cardstock, then began creating the cabin using some stamped images and TriBlend Markers.  Once the front of the card was complete, I used our Say It in Style stamp set to add some sentiments on the spinner.

Isn’t this just adorable?!  I love all the layers of images surrounding the cabin. The trees, birds, and flowers are a perfect match to this design.  If you would like to create a Mountain Cabin Spinner card just like this, you are in luck, because I have created a simple tutorial for you.  You can watch the video right here on my blog, or head to my YouTube Channel and watch it there.

Stamptacular Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamptaclaur Stamp & Thin Cuts Blog Hop where we will be featuring products from our February STAMPTACULAR Sale. 84330596_10157170281087686_7523724538614382592_nIf you have come here from Michelle Loncar’s blog, you are on the right path!  When you are finished reading my post, you can click on the link at the end to move to the next blog. For this month’s hop, I decided to use two of my favorite stamp sets from the Stamptacular sale.  When I purchase a stamp set and/or matching thin cut die, I am careful to choose ones that I will use again in the future, and the two that I used on my Beautiful Things card are definitely well loved.

Not only do I want to be able to use my stamps multiple times, I like to use them in multiple ways. For example, on this card I used the Perk Up Stamp set and dies to stamp and cut out the coffee cup and create the domed lid. Even though this set does not come with a domed lid image, I was able to trace the “lid” and a circle die onto some vellum and create the dome shape I needed.

I was also able to use the coffee sleeve image in an unexpected way.  By flipping the stamp over onto the block, I was able to use some inks to create a shadow around the edges using the Rock-n-Roll technique.  This allowed me to use some patterned paper and have a shadow around my sleeve.

Stamps with sentiments are also one of favorites and big, bold statements, like this Full of Beauty stamp, are always added to my collection.  Sentiments like these are great for cards, album covers, and scrapbook pages. They are also fun to use on home decor pieces. Honestly, you can never go wrong with a big, bold, kind sentiment especially when it is on sale for only $5.00 this month.
