One of my favorite products is our Card Front Spinner die, so you can image my excitement when I saw some NEW Stamps Sets in the catalog to match this fun interactive product.  One of my favorites is the Around the Clock set, and, today, I have created a delightful Mountain Cabin Spinner card for you to make using this collection. For those who love tutorials, you will find a process video at the very bottom of this post along with a supply list.

Yes, you read correctly– I said “Around the Clock” stamp set.  This new Stamp & Thin cut bundle was designed to create a Cuckoo-Cukoo clock, but I knew the minute I saw it that I wanted to use the images to make a whimsical little cabin.

I created a cloud background onto the Spinner Card Front, added some rolling hills cut from Green Apple cardstock, then began creating the cabin using some stamped images and TriBlend Markers.  Once the front of the card was complete, I used our Say It in Style stamp set to add some sentiments on the spinner.

Isn’t this just adorable?!  I love all the layers of images surrounding the cabin. The trees, birds, and flowers are a perfect match to this design.  If you would like to create a Mountain Cabin Spinner card just like this, you are in luck, because I have created a simple tutorial for you.  You can watch the video right here on my blog, or head to my YouTube Channel and watch it there.

Now ‘Hop” on over to Katy Taylor’s blog to see her work! Cherishing Her SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cherishing Her Stamp of the Month blog hop where we will be featuring a variety of projects using our exclusive February stamp set.79313734_10157017867222686_8633536275355271168_n If you have come here from Michelle Loncar’s blog, you are on the right path. These past few weeks I have been playing with our new Card Front Spinner Thin Cuts, and I was so excited when I discovered that the sentiments from the Cherishing Her stamp set fit perfectly.  Once I realized this, I wanted to design a special Valentine Card for our daughter to show her how unique, wonderful, sweet, and cherished she is. I hope she enjoys this Cherishing Her Spinning Valentine.

The card front was cut from cold pressed watercolor paper then stamped using our Intense Black Ink so that I could shade the images with watercolor pencils without worry of the images blurring.  While the card front was drying, I stamped the sentiments onto the “wheel” portion of the card using Sapphire and Candy Apple Inks. The words “spin me” came from the I Chews You Stamp set which just so happens to be on sale this month. (hint hint

When I had finished stamping and shading all the images, I assembled the card using the instructions from the Card Front Spinner Thin Cuts. I had so much fun making this card that I spent the rest of the afternoon making two more Valentine cards using these dies.  If you are not sure how a Spinning Card works, you simply turn the wheel and the sentiments change. In the photos below, you can see how each sentiment changes with the spin of the wheel.

How fun is that?! Each turn allows me to share how I feel about my daughter on my Cherishing Her Spinning Valentine.Personally, I think this would also make a lovely card for Mother’s Day, Grandparent’s Day, or just about any occasion where you want to show someone they are cherished.

Now ‘Hop” on over to Cat Nowak ’s blog to see her amazing creations! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas. Remember, the Cherishing Her stamp set is only available until February 29th.  Contact your CTMH Consultant, or visit the Promotions tab of my website to see how you can get this stamp set for only $5.00.

Here is a List of the Supplies I Used on this Project

Spinning Coffee Treats Card

Sometimes the coffee lover in me needs to create an amusing little card like this one, and, while I was designing it, I decided that it should have a spinning cup of coffee.  Life is fun, crazy, and sometimes requires a lot of coffee.☕  I truly enjoyed making this  delightful little card using our Just Treat stamp set along with some of our Hello Pumpkin products. You can see a list of all the products I used to create this card at the very bottom of this post.

If you have never made a spinning card, it is actually much simpler that you think. I searched on Pinterest, and found that two Pennies with a few Foam Dots worked perfectly behind the cup of coffee. Since, my blog page doesn’t allow me to upload videos, I will be showing how this card works on my Instagram and Facebook page later today, so that you can see how sweet that little spinning cup looks.

Don’t forget that the Just Treats stamp set is only available through September 30th. You can purchase it for only $5.00 with any $50 purchase. If you don’t have $50.00 worth of crafty goodness to purchase, you can buy it for $18.95 on my website and use it to create this card and many others for the upcoming holidays.  I can’t wait to see what you create!
