Take a Look at My Seasonal Favorites

Summertime has begun, my garden is growing, and I have some new favorites on my crafting desk. When I first saw the new catalog back in June, I immediately called my son and said, “Everything in here matches the items in your craft store!” I just love how Close to My Heart is always on-trend.

From outdoor sunsets, terracotta, and denim to old-world tile and magnolia flowers: the July August catalog is full of so many things to love. Today, I am sharing a few of my favorites with you, and a catalog walk-through video with an up-close look at our summer papers and stamp sets.

Let’s first take a look at the paper packs. You all know that Mix-Ins are my favorite, but I am quickly falling for the Wander collection. Those outdoor icons and deep tones are perfect for some of my boys’ pages and a few masculine cards. I can’t wait to start cutting into these patterns.

Accompanying each paper collection is a set of embellishments, coordinating cardstock, pocket cards, and a Cricut collection. Being able to make matching icons, titles, and pages in Design Space is a definite plus.

These Cricut collections are not available in Access or on the Cricut website. They can only be purchased using my affiliate link. Make sure to check out a few of the other collections available while you are there.

Each collection also has a set of coordinating scrapbooking kits and cardmaking kits. Each scrapbooking kit contains everything you need to create six full-size scrapbook pages and teaches you a new technique that you can use on your future projects.

I love that these two kits are going to teach me how to create sponged backgrounds. I can’t wait to try it.

If you are a cardmaker, then you are going to enjoy our new card kits. Each kit creates four of each card design and teaches you a new papercraft technique.

The cardmaking kits are amazing! I purchased the Wander kit just for those background dies.

Aren’t they awesome? I have a scrapbook page planned for those. If you love those landscape dies as much as I do, you will need to purchase the cardmaking kit. You cannot purchase them separately.

Along with paper, embellishments, kits, and Cricut collections, we have also added some new stamps and thin cut dies. Before I show you a few of my favorites, take a look at everything this catalog has to offer.

There are SO MANY stamps I fell in love with this season, so I am just going to share two of my personal favorites – At the Lake and I Woof You.

How cute are these! Can you picture my next project?? I love that they have matching thin cut dies to cut out all the images. This saves me so much time.

There is just so much to enjoy this season and VIPs get 15% back when they shop. BONUS!!

I can’t wait to start sharing more projects with you using all these remarkable new papercrafting products. Make sure you are subscribed to my newsletter, my blog, or my YoutUtbe channel so that you can learn a few new ways to create this summer.
