Remembering the Little Things

A Heart2Heart Papercrafting Challenge

It’s all about the little things. The little things matter. We miss the little things when they are gone. This week, we are asking you to join us at Heart2Heart and share the little things that matter to you.

Whether you choose to use our New Every Little Thing products or showcase the little things that matter, we would love for you to link up your creation before September 30th.  This week, I am sharing a few little things that I miss.

“It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important.”
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)

Scrapbooking is a great way to remember the little things. Those things we took for granted like Green Jello Salad with pineapples at EVERY holiday dinner.  Or the smirk on an 80 year old woman’s face when she thought no one noticed her pinching a piece off the roll.  Scrapbooking our memories gives us the opportunity to write down the memories and share those “little things” with others.

When I began creating this page, I realized that the patterns from our Every Little Thing papers complemented the photos well. As I continued to pull paper patterns from my trays, I was able to also snag a few sheets from the Mix-Ins collectionI love how our collections are designed to complement each other.

After designing the page, I retreated to Design Space™ to find some images and create the title.  After searching randomly for leaf images, I realized that the Layered Leaves Thin Cuts and Vellum Die-Cuts were a perfect addition to my layout.

I am so thankful that I was able to record the little things I remember from long ago. I hope that this page has inspired you to record your “little things” and share them on a scrapbook layout.  Please share your project with us at the Heart2Heart challenge. We always enjoy seeing your creations.

I can’t wait to see what you create!

Grandma’s House Layout

We all have memories of our Grandma’s house.  For me, it was a place I could run around collecting pine cones, write acrostics, and explore outside. My Grandma’s House layout is perfect for recording all of those precious memories.  This kit features our New Gimme Some Sugar papers which are perfectly designed for pages just like this.

You can order a ready-to-assemble kit from my online store which includes a detailed full-color assembly guide, cardstock, designer Gimme Some Sugar papers, Peacock Stitched Ribbon, Cricut® die-cuts, and Gimme Some Sugar Cork Shapes. You will need just a few basic supplies to assemble the kit, then add your photos for a completed layout.

If you already own the supplies, or plan on purchasing them from your local consultant, you can purchase the Workshop Guide. The Workshop Guide will include cutting instructions, a Cricut® Design Space File, photos, and assembly instructions.  You will need to own the Cricut® cartridges used to cut out the images. The Grandma’s House Workshop Guide is available for purchase in my online store or FREE with a $30.00 purchase from my website.
