You Are Enough Is Simply Stunning

In May, we celebrate Nation Scrapbooking AND Mental Health Awareness. For me, these two go hand-in-hand. Crafting and memory keeping are great ways to re-live your best memories. They can be cathartic exercises that help you remember the best in yourself and others. When you create artwork with positivity at its core, you not only renew the happy feelings associated with those memories, but you also create new ones as you continue to do what you love. That is just one of the many reasons why I am loving the new You Are Enough Collection!

This gorgeous gemstone-inspired collection is the perfect foundation for inspirational artwork. The You Are Enough suite is full of dazzling patterns, eye-catching foil accents, and uplifting sentiments. It includes a stunning combination of patterned papers, rose gold cardstock, stickers, sequins, pocket cards, stamps, and butterfly thin cuts, and it is perfect for scrapbook layouts, cards, and other personalized artwork.

Along with all the exciting products in the You Are Enough collection, this special also includes two discounted bundles and three workshop options. The discounted bundles are available at up to 30%-off and offer various groupings of You Are Enough products, so you can pick and choose the bundle that works best for you and your crafting vision.

Here is What Your Get in Your Everything Bundle

Of course, the Everything Bundle has the greatest discount, but you also have a few other bundles to choose from. The You Are Enough workshops include a cardmaking, a scrapbooking, and a 6″ x 8″ Everyday Life™ album workshop—each of which comes with pre-designed projects and instructions on how to put them together!

Each of these bundles includes the supplies you need to make the projects that will be featured at the You Are Enough Live Workshops in June. You can view each of the projects you are going to make and download the cutting guides using the links below.

Our monthly blog hops are a wonderful way for you to gather a few ideas for future projects. Many of you have already gotten a sneak peek of the new You Are Enough collection in my recent Color Theory video. At first, I wasn’t quite sure how much I would enjoy the rose gold – bling is not really my thing – but oh, my, goodness! After seeing it in person and creating that layout, I couldn’t wait to start making a few cards.

Both of these cards are simple in design. I used the papers, coordinating cardstock, stamps, thin cuts, and those adorable butterfly dies from the collection.

The Thank You card was an easy one to make. It started as more complicated fun fold, but after two hours of fussing around and making mistakes, I decided just to keep it super simple. The base was decorated with a strip of You Are Enough paper. I love all the little sentiments on this design.

After adding some splashes of black shimmer, I stamped the heart and sentiment in black, then added the beautiful butterfly motif.

The butterfly was cut out of pattern paper and vellum using the Layered Butterfly thin cuts. I placed the layers atop a starburst die-cut that I created using the stamp and thin cut bundle.

In the center of the butterfly are some Rose Gold sequins. These little sequins match perfectly with this collection, so make sure you snag a few with your You Are Enough order. If you have run out of or don’t have these rose gold gems, you could use Rose Gold Liquid Pearls for the butterfly in place of the sequins.

The second card has a similar horizontal design with a little lace added. I cut my card front in half so that I could add that little bit of lace using the Fancy Borders thin cuts.

Across the top of the card, I added a strip of that beautiful Glacier Blue and Rose Gold cardstock. These ornate designs are simply stunning! I love how the package of coordinating cardstock includes both the rose gold designs and non-pattern pieces for projects.

Again, I added a butterfly design atop that stamped starburst. Both of my butterflies are built with three layers – a flat pattern piece on the base, a folded pattern piece, and a vellum piece.

In the center of this butterfly, I added some Blue Belle gems. If you have this Layered Butterfly thin cut on your wishlist, I would suggest you grab it sooner than later. These five metal dies are sized at 3¾”and 1½” and I am guessing they are going to be VERY popular and might sell out before the special ends. Remember, these You Are Enough items are only available while supplies last.

I hope that these Beautiful Butterfly cards gave you a taste of how striking the You Are Enough collection is and showed you a few new ways to use the bundle. Now head on over to Megan Lawrence’s blog to see her work!  Be sure to visit all of the blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas.

Create A Pocket Fold Card in Design Space

It has been quite a while since I’ve posted a public Cricut tutorial. Most of my time has been spent teaching in my Cricut classroom, but, this week, I decided to treat you to a fun little pocket card creation you can make in Design Space.

This card was created for the Craft Roulette challenge. Each week, on the live show, you have the opportunity to watch two talented crafters create something new using four parameters spun by the roulette wheel.

After the show, you have an opportunity to participate by submitting your creation. Here were the parameters for last week’s episode.

Not only did I create a card for the contributor showcase, but I also created a video tutorial showing you how to can make one of these Floral Pocket cards in Cricut Design Space. Before I share my video, let me tell you a little bit more about the card.

The pocket for this card was created using a hexagon shape and a scoring tool. If you don’t own a Cricut, you could easily recreate it using a hexagon die.

I cut the base from cardstock then layered some beautiful fern Mix-in Papers on the inside and out. In the video, I show you how to create and cut the triangles for the flaps in Design Space.  I like to make life easier for you whenever I can.

The insert was created using Mix-In paper, French Vanilla cardstock, and images from the Mother’s Are the Best stamp set. I used “swinking” to shade the flowers and leaves.

Swinking involves swiping your ink pad across the paper to create a background. You can use swinking behind sentiments, to create backgrounds or shade images. You can see some amazing swinking inspiration on the contributor showcase video

The sentiment was heat embossed on Espresso cardstock and framed by some stamped leaf images. I love how classic those leaves look with their espresso lines. I adhered the sentiment flat inside the card so that it would not prevent the flaps from closing.

The card was all closed up with ribbon and an adorable wood button. The recipient can easily untie the ribbon to open it or leave it closed and slide the insert out to read it.

This card was simple to make and easy to create in Cricut Design Space. If you would like to recreate one for Mother’s Day, you can watch the entire process from start to finish in my video tutorial.

Please take a few minutes to subscribe to my channel and hit the notification icon so that you don’t miss future tutorials.

I hope that this Design Space card project inspired you to dust off your Cricut machine and create something new. This card was simple to create and fun to make for the Craft Roulette challenge.

The Mix-In paper and Mother’s Are the Best stamp sets are only available for a limited time. If you would like to recreate this card, make sure to snag these two items from my website before they are gone.
