This scrapbook layout records a memory of our daughter reading her favorite book using perspectives from Bramble Fox. The colors of this collection paired beautifully with the Simple Stories Wildflower collection.

The background pattern that I selected for this page is a lovely rose print, but it quickly overpowered the photo. To separate the two, I created a gold embossed strip of vellum with the November Fox Box stencil.

I title this page “Home Comforts” to highlight the small things that bring my daughter joy on her days at home. I incorporated a simple phrase and coffee cup using a Paper Snips sheet, and these matched flawlessly with the embellishments in the Wildflower collection.

Even though it is not in the photo, it’s highly likely that she had a cup of coffee close by while relishing her book and fresh cherries.

If you want to take your scrapbooking page to the next level, layering items to create visual interest. Placing the circle sticker beneath a photo, then layer acrylic books on top to added dimension. To further enhance the page, add a few more elements like these coffee cups which complement the theme.

Combining these two kits with the gold embossed vellum worked seamlessly, and the end result is stunning. It was also a very simple project to create with minimal supplies.
