Miniature albums are always fun to create and they are a unique way to record holiday memories. This month, I collaborated with Scrapbook.com to bring you a simple spring tag album that I created for Easter.

I chose a simple set of supplies for this album which included dies, pattern paper, and slimline cardstock. The album was built using nested tag dies that I cut from white cardstock. At the base of each one, I stitched a scallop border to extend the length of the tags.

Around many of the tags and photos, I added some stitching details. I like to texture that sticking brings to a project, but, if sewing is not your forte, feel free to skip it.
As you create your album, you may need to plan ahead so that you can place the photos and memories in order. I planned out most of my pages on the smaller colorful tags or pockets, then attached them onto to the larger white tags. This gave me the freedom to create without having to pre-plan.

Within the larger tags, I added a few smaller ones. These little filler tags are always fun to include in your mini albums.
I also added a few pockets to these pages. The library card pocket die included a pocket, a small card, and a few tabs, all of which fit the album perfectly.

Most of my photos were laid on small library cards with some florals or bits of pattern paper. On the back, I had room to include some journaling.
Throughout the album, I incorporated florals and butterflies created with bright spring colors and some bits of texture. With a white gel pen, I drew some whimsical doodles on the florals. This brought a little more white to the pages.

I also incorporated some stamped sentiments. Mini-albums are a great place to use your smaller stamps or phrase stickers.
If you would like to see how this album came together, I have a short process video for you.
Using the nested tags to create a mini album is just a simple way you can record some holiday memories. This little book is filled with bright colors and boho florals, but you can easily alter the design to match the holiday memories you wish to record.
I hope this project inspired you. If you have any questions about this project or the supplies listed above, feel free to leave me a comment.
