I genuinely enjoy sharing ways to use the items you own in your craft room. We all have items in our collection, like Pops of Color and cardstock, that need using and these three techniques are some that I hope you try on your next cardmaking project.
The three cards I am sharing today can be made using any color of cardstock, pattern paper, and Pops of Color that you own. I chose a dusty rose gloss for these cards, but there are many options available for you to choose from.
On my first card, I swiped some Pops of Color across the card with a scraper tool. I added a small amount of liquid to my scraper and then pressed the scrapper in a few different directions to get a brushed look.
For the second card, I used a stencil with Pops of Color to create the background. I mixed the Pops of Color with transparent texture paste for this application.
If you desire to have a bold glossy color, you can use just the Pops of Color liquid, but I found that it will require quite a bit of the substance to fill in a stencil. Mixing t with paste dulls the color but requires less Pops of Color.
The third technique is the most common way that Pops of Color. At the tips of the stamped flowers, I added some buds with liquid embellishment.
The simplest way to set flatter dots is to tap the back of the cardstock after you add the Pops of Color to your project.
