Not2Shabby Box of the Month Giveaway

Today, I am joining the Not2Shabby team for the January Hop and Giveaway and sharing two slimline card projects you can make using the six-inch paper pads. In my video below, I explain where to view all the projects in the hop and how to enter the gift card giveaway.

In the Better Together Box of the Month you will receive two paper pads, two packages of ephemera, and three stamp sets.  For the two cards I created, I chose four pattern papers from the two collections and cut each one at a diagonal to fit a standard slimline card base.

One each of the cards, I added a stitched triangle, rose ephemera, and a stamped sentiment. The two ephemera packs have quite a few florals that you could use on these cards. I also attached a butterfly image to each card to bring in some more of the colors from the pattern paper to the design.

I chose to keep the sentiments simple with a small half-inch strip of cardstock frames with some pattern paper. The phrase I chose is one from the BFF stamp set which is a great one to have in your collection.

This slimline card design is a simple one to create and can be altered to fit just about any occasion. I plan on making a few for Valentine’s Day using some of the other florals and phrases in the January Box of the Month kit.

In my video, I show you how to create these two card bases using six-inch triangles and share how these cards came together.

I hope that today’s project inspired you to try something new. Don’t forget to check out all of the creations made by the design team and register for the gift card giveaway.
