Magical Haunts Scrapbook Page

Today, I am collaborating with Scrapbook.com and sharing a whimsical theme park page created for the bat parade. Most of you are going to want to use these new dies on your Halloween projects, but I wanted to show another fun way to use them on vacation pages.

SUPPLIES | Decorative Bat Dies, Little Ghost Stencil, Boo-tiful Stamp Set, Spider Webs, Halloween Market Stickers, A Day at the Park Stickers, Magical Adventure Stickers, Black Sticker Letters, A Day at the Park Cards, Magical Adventure Journal Cards, White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Modeling Paste, Vintage Photo Ink, Magnetic Board, Mint Tape, Sanding Block, Foam Dots, Tape Runner, Cricut Machine

These photos were taken of the Haunted Mansion at Disney, so I wanted a page that gave off some ghostly vibes with a little bit of magic. I added stitched and stamped spider webs, pasty ghost images, scary stickers, and some adorable little bats.

These bats were created using the decorative bat die set which is being featured in this week’s Scrapbook.com Bat Parade. I cut the bats from black cardstock and added them to the page using some foam tape.

To give them a magical feel, I cut out some mouse heads with my Cricut machine. These were created by welding three circle images together in Design Space. If you don’t own a cutting machine, you could replicate this look with some stickers or dies.

The bats were placed to look like they are flying up the side of the page amongst the spider webs. One spider web is cut from white cardstock and layered behind a mouse head while another other is stitched at the top.

I also stamped two additional spider webs onto the page in the lower corner and next to the title using the Boo-tiful stamp set. I recently shared a card I made with that stamp set on instagram and tiktok.

In addition to the bats and spiderwebs, I added a few little spooky stickers and texture paste ghosts created with a stencil. I also used stickers to create a magical title to help set the theme for the page.

If you would like to see how this page came together, I have a quick video for you to enjoy.

I encourage you to head over to the Scrapbook.com gallery and check out all the great projects created with these bat dies or visit the Scrapbook.com Bat Parade on instagram and facebook.
