As creators, we love to celebrate one another’s achievements, so today, we are congratulating our friend Erin with a Scraplift YouTube Hop. Each one of us has selected a page created by Erin and has replicated it with our own personal twist.

The layout I selected was created by Erin using a diagonal pattern with florals. I loved how she used this page to tell the story of her decision to become a YouTube creator in the midst of her busy life. One of the elements that stood out the most on her page was the bold title.

On my layout, I layered multiple items together to create the title. Mixing elements together gave this title the structure it needed to stand on its own while creating a visual triangle with other elements on the page.
Erin added die-cut florals and leaves to her design along the diagonal line. I was able to achieve this look with stickers, texture paste, and dies. The texture paste was applied through a stencil to create almost a vellum-like look that matched the renaissance feel of the page.

Above and below the florals, she added some word stickers and I liked how that looked. I mimicked this with a few icons I had in my vintage collection. At the base of the page, I added a simple circle sticker tucked in the flowers.
At the top of the page, I added a wooden chipboard icon. Both of these circles created a nice endpoint to the florals and formed a visual triangle with the circle in the title.

Her layout included butterflies, which I also added. These are much smaller than hers and not as bold, but they fit the design I created.
In my video, I share the story of how I met Erin and walk you through the process of creating this page.
This layout was created to celebrate our friend Erin and I love how it turned out. I scraplifted quite a few items from her page using the diagonal layout, some florals, die-cut and textured leaves, butterflies, a big title, and of course, splatters. All these elements allowed me to give this page a vintage look that shares a memory of my son and his wife and the time they enjoyed together at these events.
I hope this project inspired you to try something new. If you have any questions about this page or the supplies I used, feel free to leave me a comment below.
