I recently discovered the Bramble Fox company and fell in love with their acrylic shapes. This is a lovely company out of the UK with unique shapes, stencils, and embellishments. You can only imagine my surprise when I received a request to join their design team. Today, I am sharing one of the scrapbook pages I created for their channel.
The shapes I used on this layout arrived in my Fox Box. This subscription is perfect for those who want a taste of what Bramble Fox has to offer.
I chose to use You plus Me for the title and a few little chevrons on my page. If you missed out on these shapes in the March & April Fox Box, they are available in other colors in the shop.
The title fits the photo perfectly and pairs well with the paper patterns. These vintage prints from Fancy Pants Designs make a lovely backdrop for that black and white photo.
The floral die cuts on the page came in that collection. I loved the colors and patterns, but felt like they needed a bit of dimension so I added some three-dimensional daisies. I cut these from grey cardstock to match the pattern papers and added black in the center.
Adding three-dimensional flowers over printed die cuts gives your page some contrast and texture. These daisies brought more floral elements to my design and helped frame that title.
Above the photo, I added more floral elements and a sweet little tab with the word “documented.” This element was cut from one of the Paper Snips sheets. I love adding little word bits like this to my projects.
Behind the photo I placed a grid design cut out with my Cricut. This is a free SVG from the SCT website. Elements like this help bring the focus to your photos by separating it from the patterns in the background.
This scrapbook layout came together quickly with layers of florals, stitching, and those charming perspextives. If you would like to view the process, I have a short video for you to enjoy.
This layout is such a beautiful page that shows the fun side of this relationship. The simple colors, vintage type, and clusters of floral elements pair well with the acrylic title and the grey chevrons while keeping the photo the focus.
