I have some news for my coffee-loving friends! It’s hop week over that the Coffee Loving Cardmaker Blog. Not only will you be able to enjoy some amazing coffee crafts, but there will also be some amazing giveaways all week long. Make sure to stop by each day for inspiration.
I am sharing a delicious set of bookmarks designed to fit inside a little slimline card. This is the perfect gift for your coffee-loving friends. I created these from a sweet little 6×6 pack and some charming dies and stamps from Jillian Vance Design.
To create the bookmarks, I used some of Jillian’s Bookmark and Overlay dies to cut the images from some coffee pattern papers. This project is a great way to use up some of the 6×6 packs in your collection. Those bookmark dies are just the right size.
You could use any pattern for this project, but I felt like the coffee designs from Echo Park were perfect for this project. I love the soft colors paired with black and woodgrains.
The paper pack included a pattern with small coffee signs. I discovered that they fit perfectly on the micro tags. All I had to do was cut them out using a craft knife and ruler. I love adding little details like this to my projects.
These bookmarks are going to be placed inside the card. I designed this chunky slimline with a pocket and cut it out with my Cricut machine. You could easily replicate it with a scoreboard. For those who would prefer using a cutting machine, I have an SVG for you to use.

The card itself is a simple design with a brick background and a stack of books. I stamped the sentiment on a watercolor wash background and backed it with some pattern paper and threads.
All of the images from the Coffee & Books Stamp Set were stamped onto mixed media paper and shaded with watercolors. I altered a few of the images to create larger and smaller stacks of books.
