This week, our team will be sharing projects to inspire you using the In This Together papers, stickers, and stamp set. This limited-time special has been designed for you to celebrate the happy moments from the past year.
What is a blog hop? This is a wonderful way for you to gather a few ideas for using a specific element on your projects. You may be just starting out here or you may have come from Kristine Ponte’s blog – either way, you are in the right place. When you are finished viewing my Quirky Quarantine card, click the link at the end of my post to “hop” on over to the next website. One year ago, no one expected that we would be experiencing a quickly changing world. A life locked down, full of virtual events, and learning to adapt to daily changes. Many of my friends are still struggling with the changes, so I decided that I would cheer them up with a Quirky Quarantine slimline card.

Just roll with it. That’s how I have had to live life over the last year. I am sure many of you felt the same way. There was absolutely nothing I could do to change what was happening, so I just had to roll with the punches. That little stamp made this saying even more amusing being placed on a TP roll. Do you remember that shortage?
I chose to stamp the image on yellow pattern paper using Intense Black ink, shaded it with watercolor pencils, and added it onto the card like a tab. I created a matching tab at the bottom using our Tabs & Tags thin cuts.

The background papers from the In This Together collection were adhered to a slimline card base and a little stitching was added for texture. I love how bright and cheery these papers are and plan to use them for a few of my spring layouts.
To break up the plaid pattern, I cut a circle and flipped it over to reveal the dots on the back. This circle helped me to frame my sentiment with the stickers.

The remaining parts of the card were simple. These are all stickers from the In This Together sticker sheet layered atop each other using foam tape. I added some flowers, hearts, a cheerful sentiment, and a few silly additions to put a smile on the recipient’s face.
I hope that this project inspired you, brought a smile to your face, and triggered a few happy memories from the past year. Now head on over to the talented Cat Nowak ’s blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all of the blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas.
