I am so happy to be able to join this month’s stamp of the month blog hop with my fellow Makers. Each month, we show you a variety of ways to use these exclusive stamp sets, and, this month, we are showing you how to use these adorable doodled images on your projects.
What is a blog hop?

As a cardmaker, I like having a quick, simple pattern that I can make last-minute. If you are like me, you are going to enjoy the video tutorial I created showing you how to make these three cards using the Doodled Border stamp set.
The original card with the bow was inspired by a few cards I found on Pinterest that used washi tape and ribbon. I decided to take that pattern and adapt it to these border stamp images.
The first card was stamped using Scarlet ink with those adorable doodled hearts. I added a sentiment along the top border then embellished the card with a small bow.
The bow was cut out using our Small Bow thin cuts, then dry embossed using a swiss dot embossing folder. Adding those whimsical polka-dots matched the doodle hearts so well.
The second card was stamped in the same manner as the first. This time, instead of the hearts, I used the little asterisks border to match the flower on the front of the card.
I used Scarlet ink to match the Blue Belle flower sticker and gems, then added a simple wooden sentiment. Those wooden sentiments are some of my favorites to use on cards.
The third and final card has more of a masculine feel. I designed this as a Valentine for my son. I used Espresso ink with a few of the large borders to create the background then added some die cuts I had leftover in my stash.
Each card was created using the same technique, yet, they each look so uniquely different because of the colors used and the embellishments added. You could easily change the look of your cards by selecting a different color palette, die cut, or sentiment.
