A Cactus Flower Layout | Video Collab

Our Creative Design Team has another video collab for you featuring the Operation Smile Stamp Set and Bright Paper Stack. We are entitling it Creative Ways to Help Kids Smile Bright-ly.  Our goal is to teach you ways to use both of these products as you learn how to support Operation Smile.

Please take a few minutes to subscribe to my channel so that you don’t miss out on our future video collabs.

Not only did I show you a few ways to use the Every Bit of Wonderful Stamp Set, I also gave you a few tips and tricks for using your watercolor pencils to shade those beautiful floral images.  When I first saw this stamp set, I immediately pictured cactus flowers.

I knew that I had the perfect photo for this and I started designing a layout with Cricut cut cactus and stamped watercolor flowers.

The cactus on this layout were created from images in the You Are Here collection and cut from Toffee cardstock and the Bright Paper Stack.  That lovely little six-inch stack of paper is another product our Creative Design Team is featuring in this collab.

I chose to use the pattern papers as backgrounds for my cactus.  These papers are bright, so I chose to distress them a bit with a sanding block to dull the color a little.

The flower images were shaded using watercolor pencils. These are such sweet, simple little flowers are so much fun to color.  This stamp set is our current Operation Smile stamp and with every purchase of this stamp set, $7 USD are donated to the life saving mission of Operation Smile.

To match the cactus theme, I chose to use our Woodgrain and Mix-In Papers in the background.  I just adore those new wood-grains and I can’t wait to use them again.

I hope that these projects inspire you and encourage you to take another look at that Every Bit of Wonderful Stamp Set, and I hope that you take the time to visit each of the Creative Design Team members’ channels.
