This month, we are featuring a variety of projects using the June Stamp of the Month – Garden Tags.
I truly enjoy creating tags♥. It gives me a break from the everyday creations I make and allows me to play with layers and layers of products. Today, I dug out the texture paste, shimmer brushes, vellum, ribbon, and thread to create some delightfully distressed Garden Tags. How sweet are these??!!

The base layers of my tags were created in Cricut Design Space using images from our ArtPhilosphy collection. These two layers were cut from French Vanilla Cardstock & Kraft paper.
I created a distressed look onto the Kraft layer using the Strokes of an Artist stamp set, some splatters of Lagoon & Toffee Shimmer, and texture paste.
After the background layers were complete, I started to create the top layer tags using the Garden Tags stamp set. Both tags were heat embossed to give some texture – one in Peacock, the other in Espresso – then splattered with shimmer brushes.
To add a little dimension, I created some additional layers for the tags. The dragonfly wings were stamped onto vellum and added to the tag. I stamped the flower image from the Garden Tags stamp set in Espresso and shaded it with TriBlend Markers, then attached it with a foam dot. Both added little more texture and interest to each of the tags♥.
The sentiments on each were created using the Stitched Together Cardmaking stamp set, which were stamped using Intense Black ink, cut out by hand, and adhered to the tags with foam tape.
