A Simple Striped Graduation Card for the H2H Challenge

How many of you have friends and family who are missing out on an “official” graduation this year? I want to encourage you to send them a card to show how proud you are of them for all their hard work.  Before I show you a simple card you can make, I want to encourage you to join another Heart2Heart challenge.

For this challenge, we are asking you to create something with stripes.  I chose to use our Build A Plaid stamp set to create a striped background for this simple shaker card.  If you would like to create a card, like this, to send to the graduates in your life, you can use the supply list and follow a simple video tutorial at the end of this post.

Like I said, this card is super simple to make and can be altered to match the colors of your graduate’s school.  You could even add some gold embellishments for those who are graduating from college. I chose to use Carolina, Bluebird, Sapphire, & Silver to match our school colors. (I have a few graduates on my list.)

I even added a little stamped image to decorate the front of my envelope using our For the Graduate stamp set.  How cute are those books?!! I just love that image!!

Many of you enjoy video tutorials, so I have created a simple one for you to follow.  I hope that you are inspired to make a few of these cards and send them in the coming weeks.

Please take a few minutes to subscribe to my channel & hit the like button if you enjoyed the video.

Here are a few things you will want to remember.

  • The Heart2Heart challenge ends on April 30th.  Make sure to link your project to the challenge blog before then.
  • You will also want to make sure to grab the For the Graduate stamp set before April 30th.  It will be retiring at the end of the month.

I hope that you were inspired to try something new this week, and I hope you join us at Heart2Heart for another April challenge.
