How many of you have friends and family who are missing out on an “official” graduation this year? I want to encourage you to send them a card to show how proud you are of them for all their hard work. Before I show you a simple card you can make♥, I want to encourage you to join another Heart2Heart challenge.

For this challenge, we are asking you to create something with stripes.♥ I chose to use our Build A Plaid stamp set to create a striped background for this simple shaker card. If you would like to create a card, like this, to send to the graduates in your life, you can use the supply list and follow a simple video tutorial at the end of this post.

Like I said, this card is super simple to make and can be altered to match the colors♥ of your graduate’s school. You could even add some gold embellishments for those who are graduating from college. I chose to use Carolina, Bluebird, Sapphire, & Silver to match our school colors. (I have a few graduates on my list.)
I even added a little stamped image to decorate the front of my envelope using our For the Graduate stamp set. How cute are those books?!! I just love that image!!
Many of you enjoy video tutorials, so I have created a simple one for you to follow. I hope that you are inspired to make a few of these cards and send them in the coming weeks.
Here are a few things you will want to remember.♥
- The Heart2Heart challenge ends on April 30th. Make sure to link your project to the challenge blog before then.
- You will also want to make sure to grab the For the Graduate stamp set before April 30th. It will be retiring at the end of the month.
I hope that you were inspired to try something new this week, and I hope you join us at Heart2Heart for another April challenge.
