For the H2H Color Challenge
Welcome to our first March Heart2Heart challenge♥. This week, we are teaming up with Double Trouble and challenging you to play with the color green. Now, this doesn’t mean that you have to create a St. Patrick’s Day themed design like I did, but you do need to use the color green and link your project to the Heart2Heart blog before March 31st.
Saint Patrick’s Day🍀 is one of my favorite holidays, so when I saw that our Design Team was tasked with using the color green, I decided that I wanted to create something for this challenge to share my love of the holiday and use up my crafting stash before I dove into my NEW Catalog products. Today, I want to share with you how♥ I used a few of my leftover holiday products to create this adorable Friendship Clover for my home.
Like many of you, I often over order products thinking that I will use them, only to realize that I now have a pile of extra items in my craft space collecting dust. This past year, I promised myself to reduce the excess♥ and start using up what I have, and I was able to do just that with some Christmas Mix-Ins paper and a Be Mine Banner kit.
I started by cutting out each of the hearts from the green plaid Christmas Mix-Ins paper. There are two ways to do this♥. If you purchased the banner and own a cutting making, like a Cricut, you can upload the SVG image and cut out the heart image that came with the Be Mine banner kit. (If you do not know how to do this, you can view my video)
If you do not own a cutting machine, you can simply trace the wood hearts onto the back of the paper and cut out the hearts by hand. Once I had all the images cut, I adhered them to the hearts using ModPodge. The center heart was cut from our new Mix-In paper, and a smaller heart was stamped and adhered to the center.
Once the project was complete, I placed the clover onto a wood and metal sign and hung it up in my home.

Hi Carrie, what a great idea to frame the clover as a home project and use up some of your older stash which is sometimes difficult to do when there are so many new items introduced to CTMH.
