Say it With Flowers

for the H2H Challenge

Each month, at the Heart2Heart Blog, we have a variety of paper crafting challenges for you. With spring right around the corner, we are inviting you to Say it with Flowers and show off your flowery designs.  Our Design Team has created some beautiful floral creations to inspire you this week. We would love for you to stop by the Heart2Heart blog, view each one of our creations, and join the challenge this month.

If you are a member of my VIP Group, you had a chance to see me create this card first hand during my Fab Friday Find video.  The pattern for this floral creation came from our Make It From Your Heart Volume Four How To Book which features over twenty four card patterns that you can create.  I chose to alter this pattern a little, which I show in my video, but the inspiration for the card came directly from the how to book.

Being able to personalize a pattern is one of the reasons I enjoy our How To Books.  You can be inspired by a single pattern and use it as a launching point to make a beautiful creation.

On my card, I chose to stamp some images from our Cherishing Her stamp set onto watercolor paper to create the background.  After shading it with watercolor pencils and adhering to the card base, I stitched a strip of vellum in place, added that whimsical bow paper, some black velvet ribbon, and layers of our Celebrate Today vellum die cuts.  I am a sucker for  on all those bright cheerful colors in the midst of winter.

I hope that this card has inspired you to create a floral creation this week, and share that creation with us at the Heart2Heart blog.  While you are there, make sure to take a look at the other challenges we have for you this month.
