With Valentine’s Day less than a month away, I decide to use our Oh My Heart products to create a delightful Valentine Petit Four Box with images from our Artiste collection. When I learned that Close to My Heart was bringing back Artiste in digital form, I was beyond excited.  I have always enjoyed the treat boxes, rolled flowers, and tag images in this collection, and am I excited to share with you how I used them on my Terrific Treat project.

Isn’t this just too stinkin’ cute?! I just love how well the Ballerina, Raspberry, Candy Apple, and Glacier complement each other.  After manipulating each of the Artiste boxes in Cricut Design Space®, I cut the larger box from Candy Apple cardstock, the lid from Pink Plaid paper, then cut the smaller box from Ballerina.

To create the dividers in the box, I inserted two rectangle shapes then attached some partial cut lines. The box itself measures 4″ x 4″ x 2½” with four little 1¾” boxes inside that were decorated with Oh My Heart paper and stickers.  Since most of my projects have a bit of blue, I decided to cut the leaves in the Striped Glacier paper before attaching them to the Rolled Flowers (#M45675).

The Pink Pearls inside each flower were some leftover embellishments that I had from the past, but these could easily be created using White Pearls and a Pink TriBlend Marker. (see how I did this on my You’re My Person cardTo finish the design, I added a Heart Sticker, Silver Embellishing Thread, and a tag created using the Oh My Heart stamp set.

This Valentine Petit Four Box was a terrific treat to make and made me realize how I much I missed using those rolled flowers in my creations.

Now ‘Hop” on over to Tamara Sandwisch’s blog to see her work!
