Creative Design Team Video Blog Hop

Welcome to our FIRST Creative Design Team Video Collaborators Hop! I have the special privilege of joining an amazingly talented group of ladies who will be sharing their crafting videos with you.  This month, we are showcasing a few of our Close to My Heart holiday products that are being used in creative new ways.  If you get lost along the way, you can view the complete list of participants here on my blog – Creative Design Team Hop.

It is obviously Monday in cold Colorado and many of you had the pleasure of receiving a blank blog post in your email today. With the new year, I made a few changes to my blog and one of those changes was to plan ahead and schedule posts so that I would stay on top of things.  Great in theory. 🙄 In order to execute that plan, I need to check my list occasionally.  So… I am asking you to please forgive this scatter-brained creative♥ and enjoy today’s creation. 

This month, our Creative Design Team was challenged with the task to use holiday products in a new way♥.  We all have some leftovers in our scrap-bin (or maybe some pieces you have never cut into) and, with the holidays now over, we want to find ways to use them.  Our Design Team has put together some great videos showing you how to do just that.  On my Joy of Farm Life layout, I have used a plethora of Close to My Heart holiday products and listed each one of them at the very bottom of this post. 

In my video, I go into much more detail, but you can see a few of the items I used in my photos above.  The title was created using some Cedar & Pine Stickers & Tags, and a border sticker from the Holly Jolly Collection.  Even though this scrapbook page has nothing to do with Christmas, I was able to use up quite a few of my paper scraps and leftover stickers to create a memorable layout of my son.
