Paper Layering Technique Blog Hop

To me, paper layering means using a variety of products, from various collections, that all complement each other and use them on a single paper crafting project. This is my FAVORITE way to create.♥  I enjoy being able to just grab from my stash when construct a layout, like this Snow Cute page.

To often, we grab a background paper, like the one from Holly Jolly here, and think that we need to only using Holly Jolly products, without noticing that the Mix-Ins and Cedar & Pine have embellishments that match perfectly. When I am designing my layouts, I don’t even pay attention to the product line, I simply snag & grab everything that coordinates  with my photo and create.

If you look at the title of my layout, you will see that I used a combination of Complete Creativity Cricut™ cuts  and stickers from the Cedar & Pine Collection, yet the paper is from the Holly Jolly collection. These both match my photos and coordinate♥ with each other.  

If you take a hard look at the other side of the layout, you will notice Cricut™ cuts from Flower Market, Your Are Here, & Complete Creativity along with stickers from the Holly Jolly collection.  Every piece I chose for this layout complements each other and the photos♥ I am trying to highlight.  If you like, you can watch this short process video, and watch how I put together this Snow Cute page.
