Welcome to the New Product Blog Hop where we will be featuring products from our NEW Holiday Expressions catalog. If you have come here from Lauren Moore’s blog, you are on the right path! When you are finished reading my post, you can click on the link at the end to move to the next blog. This blog hop is simple, fun, and full of artwork created by some very talented consultants. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
Making treat boxes is something I enjoy doing for our holiday table, and, this year, I have created some little Holiday Treasures using quite a few of the products from our Holiday Expressions catalog.
The original pinterest box design was revamped to hold more chocolate and accommodate die cuts from our new Buttoned Up Thin Cuts. Aren’t they just the cutest?♥
After reworking the original design, I made two prototypes by hand, then went into Design Space™ to devise a pattern I could cut out in multiples with less work. I cut out all my boxes and die cuts, covered each box in Holly Jolly paper, added the sentiments, then simply assembled each one.
You can never have enough glitter on a holiday project.♥ I decided to accent each box by adding some Stickles and shimmer using a Black Shimmer Brush. All I had to do was add six Hershey’s Nuggets candies.
After making these Holiday Treasures boxes, I decided that I would share the design with you. I have created a process video♥ to show you how I made the box by hand. I hope you enjoy it.
Now ‘Hop” on over to Haley Dyer’s blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas. These holiday products are only available through December 31st, while supplies last, so be sure to contact your CTMH Consultant, or visit my website to see all that we have for you this holiday season.
