Welcome to the Autumn Air October SOTM Blog Hop where we will be featuring our Autumn Air stamp set. 70189997_10156748261022686_1493579176446263296_n.jpgIf you have come here from Gina Brandstetter’s blog, you are on the right path!  When you are finished reading my post, you can click on the link at the end to move to the next blog. This blog hop is simple, fun, and full of artwork created by some very talented consultants.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

Today is one the first days that it has felt like fall.🍂The temperature is dropping, the leaves are full of colors, and there is moisture in the air. Not only did this put me in the mood for some chili & cinnamon rolls, it re-energized my creative desire to make something for fall. Doesn’t this layout just make you want to take a walk through the autumn leaves?MissCarriesCreations-AutumnAirLayoutSM

I chose to use the Hawthorn & Mix-In paper packs for this layout, as well as the Hawthorn Stickers, Wood Shapes, & Complements. I have provided you with a complete list of the supplies I used at the very bottom of this post as well as an easy to follow process video.

I love how well our Layered Leaves Thin Cuts dies complement this layout. After cutting each one out from cardstock & patterned paper, I stitched them along the left side of the layout. I also used the same leaves on various parts of the page.

The vellum title was created using a heat embossing technique and then attached to the page using Liquid Glass that was hidden behind White Dots I shaded with a TriBlend Marker.  This is a great way to create embellishments to match your projects and an easy way to hide the glue behind the vellum.

To see how I made this title, as well as the layout watch the video below. Please let me know what you think of this process video.  I have just started getting my feet wet with this “YouTube thing” and am hoping to create a few more of these in the future.

Now ‘Hop” on over to Alyson Mayo’s blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas. Remember, the Autumn Air stamp set is only available until October 31st.  Contact your CTMH Consultant, or visit the Promotions tab of my website to see how you can get this stamp set for only $5.00.

I can’t wait to see what you create!
