It’s not about you or me. It’s not about us or them. It’s up pulling one another up out of the murkiness, and watching them rise through life’s challenges. We have all heard “life is not a race”, but at times I feel like we treat life more like a Black Friday Sale as we mow over one another to try to get the biggest and the best. We care more about what we are getting and less about what we are doing. We need to rise strong.♥
When Monica presented this stamp set to us at the NA Convention, she challenged each of us to rethink and consider the “giving” instead of the “getting”. What can we do to help others Rise Strong? ♥
We need to be the light in the murky waters. A simple card, gift, phone call, text, encouraging verse – be the one who rises up out of the crowd and encourages others. I encourage you to take a few minutes today and be the one who gives more, shares more, and does more.
