From Me to You SOTM Blog Hop

This month’s exclusive stamp set is full of whimsical, inspirational sayings, and I wanted to use as many as possible on my project.  Since my daughter is just starting out at a new school, I decided to make her a little gift – something she could use all year long to encourage her students.

Isn’t this little box of inspiration adorable??♥ Our playful Craft On products are full such bright patterns and were ideal for creating this Happy Inspirations Card Kit. I began by creating the box in Cricut Design Space™ and cut it from Emerald cardstock.  I then decorated it with Craft On papers & complements (which are too cute) and assembled it.

Each of the small cards was decorated in the same manner. I cut a 3″ x 6″ piece of White Daisy cardstock, folded it in half, and added pattern papers from the Craft On collection.

I cut a 1¾” Stitched Circle and stamped the centers using the Timeless Textures Stamp set with a complementing color (Mint, Ballerina, and Lemon). Each of those adorable little icons♥ came from the Details I Love stamp set. Those were stamped in Emerald, Eggplant, Lemon, Bluebird, and Raspberry.

NOTE: Emerald and Lemon are retiring on August 31st. If you love these colors, you will need to order them before they disappear. 

The sentiments from the From Me to You stamp set were heat embossed onto Black Cardstock using White Embossing Powder.  Some White Twine was added along with some cute Black Dots and the cards were complete.

I was able to find the small envelopes on Amazon. They are sized at 3¹⁄8″ square and are available in White and Kraft colors.  I plan to create a few more of these cards for her using the From Me to You sentiments and adding them to her stocking this year. Which ones do you think I should use?♥
