One of my goals this year was to step outside my comfort zone (in my teal crafting chair), and, this month, I did just that by joining the Heart2Heart Design Team. I am thrilled to join such a talented group of ladies and hope that each creation challenges you to try something new. So……are you ready for another challenge?♥ This month, we are Making Waves at Heart2Heart.
To me, making waves meant being able to use the beautiful shades of our Seaside papers to create this multi-layered card that reflects the sea. It brought back memories of a trip my husband surprised me with to the San Francisco Bay many years ago. The old world eccentricity of the “non-tourist” hidden treasures is something I’ll never forget. 
I started with a Tag created using our Fancy Tag Thin cuts, and added a layer of Clear Mat Texture Paste shaded in Almond. After heat embossing the boat image, I placed it onto another tag, then adhered the tags onto a Vellum Doily.
The rest of the card included adding a few stickers, a stamped sentiment, and some Gold Embellishing Thread & Gems.
