You would never believe how hard it was to choose only a few items from the long list of new products I wanted to show you today. As I contemplated which products to feature, I realized that I have fallen behind on my goal to scrapbook more photos this year, so I decided that I would show you a few of the products that I used to create this adorable Easter layout♥. You will find the complete list of supplies at the very bottom of this post.
♥New Paper Suites
With a new catalog comes an entirely new line of paper suites. For this layout, I chose to use patterns and images from our Sweet Girl paper packet. Even though this paper packet appears to be primarily for those who love pink, I was able to pull patterns using Fern, Sapphire, and Heather to create my layout. I love this color combination.
♥Stitched Flower Thin Cuts
If you have not had a chance to see our new Stitched Flower Thin Cuts in the new idea book, you need to stop and visit page 122. This set of metal dies comes with multiple stitched flower dies, leaves, and centers which can be layered in a variety of ways. On my layout, I cut the flowers from both cardstock and patterned paper to create unique spring accents for my Easter layout.
♥New Embellishments
As you know, I always add multiple layers and textures to my projects, so you can only image my excitement when I saw our Sapphire Crochet Thread. I like that I can use it to embellish photos, add small bows, and use it for stitching. I am also ELATED by all the new colors and shapes in our Crafty Sequins. This package of sequins had the perfect shade of blue to enhance my layout.
Well, I was able to narrow it down to only four products. That was hard to do, but I hope it gave you just a taste of what is available in the new Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog.
Now ‘Hop” on over to Brenda Lapp’s blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting tips and other fun ideas. The Sweet Girl paper pack seems to be very versatile. Despite the name that makes an adorable boy layout too.
