I always enjoy seeing each of your creations at Color My Heart Color Dare. This week we are challenging you with a Tic-Tac-Toe board inspired by colors from our Sweet Girl Collection. You do not have to use these papers, but we do ask that you stick to the colors on the Tic-Tac-Toe board when creating your project. These past few weeks have been like a roller coaster and, as I sit here with a worn body and sad heart, and I am so grateful♥ to have a God who gives me strength each day. As I created this Sweet Sympathy card for a friend, I began to reflect on the past few weeks.
I have had to opportunity to speak with so many who are struggling, have had recent deaths, or who just needed someone to listen. I am so blessed♥ that this small business has granted me the opportunity to be there. When I can’t be there in person, I love being able to send cards, like this one, to show someone that I am thinking about them.
I love that soft color palette♥ of the Sweet Girl paper and how easily this card came together. I was in a bit of a rush, and struggling with a few things of my own, so I chose to use some die cuts and stickers from our Sweet Girl Complements instead of stamped images.
No one ever wants to have to send cards like this one, but it is always nice to receive them and know that someone out there cares for you.
I encourage you to send a card this week and show someone that you care♥, and if you can, show us your creation at the Color My Heart Color Dare Blog. We have multiple challenges this month and your project might just fit one.
♥ I can’t wait to see what you create!
