Giving Thanks Seasonal Trees Eclipse Frame

This week is all about giving thanks so today I am showing you one final home decor project that you can create for your guests this Thanksgiving.  If you haven’t noticed, eclipse cards are very popular right now, so I chose to take it a step farther and create a whimsical framed piece of art for my home using our Seasonal Trees stamp of the month.

Just like my Nativity Eclipse card, I created the lettering for this project on my Cricut™ in Design Space™.  The finished project measures 5″ x 7″ so I cut my White Daisy cardstock at 4½” x 6½”.

After cutting out the image, I temporarily taped the letters in place and used Espresso, Saffron, Pomegranate, and Goldrush Exclusive Inks to stamp my images onto the White Daisy cardstock.  Some of my leaves were created using the second-generation stamping technique which helped to add a larger variety of colors to my tree and leaves.

Once I was finished stamping, I backed my project with Espresso cardstock. By using a darker color backing I was able to create a “shadow” effect under the letters.  This project was quick and easy to create and would make a wonderful gift for your Thanksgiving guests.
