Life for me is not just about creating for “work”. Even though I have been blessed to have a home business that allows me to play with paper throughout the week, I have never thought of it as work. When I signed up to become a consultant four years ago (mainly because I wanted a discount on the supplies), I never expected to have readers, like you, follow my crafting adventures. ❤❤
Some of you have asked if I create anything on my “non-work” days. Like most of you, I often craft on the weekend, and I try to make a point of my crafting time not being work related. Due to my private nature, I do not usually share these creations, but, per your request, I have chosen to start sharing a few of those with you. I hope you aren’t disappointed.
Today, I have been adding to my Fall home decorating collection and using up supplies. Before you ask me “how I made this”, I will assure you that it is NOT all made up of paper. (I am not THAT crafty.)
I found an amazing website called Foundations Decor that has become my new LOVE. Each of these little pieces comes as a pre-cut wood piece that can be covered with paper and easily assembled. All I had to do is use up some of my scrap pile to decorate each piece. (No I am not affiliate, nor do I sell it…I am just addicted to it.)
So, there you have it. I do “play” on the weekends, like most of you, and it often involves paper, but it is always something outside of my normal realm of creations. I am usually a very private person, (insert panic attack here), so sharing this “non-work” project was a bit of a challenge for me. I hope you enjoyed a little insight to my bubble.
I can’t wait to see what you create!
