Seasonal Trees Blog Hop

In my state, the weather changes constantly.  We can have a foot of snow at 7am, sunshine by noon, and a thunderstorm by dinnertime. We don’t have true seasons here, like most of the nation, just a ever guessing meteorologist who hopes she got it right today.  I am happy to report, that even in a state of ever changing seasons, our Seasonal Tree stamp set will be put to good use. Each tree trunk, leaf, pine needle, palm frond, and icon can be used for any season in your neck of the woods.

This week, I am starting to use up some of our Grateful Heart products and decided to create some Thank You cards for a few wonderful customers.  That simple “Thank You” tag comes from the PML cut-apart page and it works perfectly for creating cards like this one.

I decided to keep the card pretty simple. I wanted that delightful fall tree to be noticed on the card. If you look closely, it looks like there are three shades of leaves of the tree. I achieved this look by first adding the leaves with a second-generation stamping of Goldrush, then a stamping of Saffron, followed by a second-generation stamping of Saffron again; rotating the leaf stamp each time.

 

I embellished the card with a a few borders created from our Decorative Borders Thin Cuts, added some Gold Sequins, and a single Complement Sticker to complete the card.
